HOW AND WHERE: Although coaching can be done face to face, most coaching takes place over the telephone. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the convenience, comfort and efficiency of tele-coaching. This allows you to phone in from the comfort of your own home or office or other location. Please know that all information you share with your coach remains strictly confidential, except as required by law or as specifically authorized by you.

WHEN AND HOW OFTEN: Once you have committed to coaching, we will establish a time for you to phone me to begin our pre-arranged session. It is very important for you to phone in promptly for each session so that you may get the maximum amount of time. Sessions will last 45 minutes. There may be checklists and/or forms to fill out and discuss together which will be sent via email. At the beginning of each session, we will recap the past week, assess where you are and any new considerations, and determine what you want to accomplish for the following session. We will work together as you set the goals, the pace, and determine your success. In between sessions, you will have the opportunity to briefly correspond with me via email for support.

MY EXPECTATIONS: As your coach, I will keep you on track, always reminding you of your goals, checking to see if they’ve changed, and working with you through obstacles that get in the way. By answering thought provoking questions and doing internal examination, you will uncover much about yourself. Although you ultimately determine your commitment to the process, I may challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, if necessary, to expedite progress. As your coach, I will nudge a little here and there and reinforce your successes which will empower you to press onward. You will set short and long term goals and report to me the successes from the previous week. In essence, I will be your accountability partner, cheerleader, and trusted confidant.  

BETWEEN SESSIONS: There will be steps for you to take between sessions which will ultimately help you reach your goal. Who decides the steps? YOU DO!!! Together we will brainstorm a plan for you to follow and you will decide what steps to take. Each step brings you closer to your goal and with each step you are empowered! The more work you are willing to do, the quicker you will see results and reach your goal(s).

LENGTH OF TIME TO BE COACHED: One question I hear often is, "How long do I need to be coached?". This depends on the individual. I take coaching client on an as-needed basis so sometimes it may just be one session. Depending on the client and the extend of the goals, it may take several sessions...sometimes several weeks and sometimes months. It just depends on you, the client, how many goals you have and how quickly you move forward. The decisions is yours.
